Stax Records will bring a little bit of soul to Los Angeles with a special listening party for the new Otis Redding box set, ‘Live at The Whisky A Go Go: The Complete Recordings,’ at Amoeba Music in Hollywood, CA. The “Soul-a-bration” will begin at 2 p.m. PT on Sunday, October 23, two days after the six-CD collection hits stores.
Copies of the box set will be given away during the bash, as will vinyl copies of the Redding’s albums and such Stax-branded collectibles as tote bags and T-shirts.
